The 2011 Elantra has received accolades and plenty of praise from almost every man, woman, and association that has ever reviewed it, and the 2012 Elanta Limited will be no different. This is truly a breakout leader in the compact sedan category. Like many other Hyundai vehicles, the Elantra Limited stands out in traffic because of its bold fluidic design. The interior is unbelievably spacious for a compact, with ample leg and headroom.

The Limited’s pricing starts right around $20,445, and it gets an impressive 29 miles to the gallon city and 40 miles to the gallon highway. The Elantra is actually one of 4 in the Hyundai line-up offering 40mpg. 4 vehicles averaging 40 mpg is more than any other automotive maker out there. Fuel economy improves even further for the 2012 Limited thanks to a new system known as Active Eco. When the driver selects this mode, the Elantra’s automatic transmission shift points and throttle response are adjusted to increase fuel economy by up to 7 percent.

The Elantra Limited is powered by a 148-hp, 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine. Standard safety features include four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, electronic stability control with traction control and six airbags. Available features include a power sunroof, turn signal indicators on exterior mirrors, 17-inch aluminum wheels, heated leather seating surfaces and Bluetooth. Ft. Myer’s car dealer, O’Brien Hyundai enjoys getting the chance to take any Elantra out on the road for a test drive.

“Thanks to head-turning styling, a fuel-efficient engine and a long list of standard safety features and upscale options, the 2012 Hyundai Elantra is a top pick for a small sedan.” According to Edmunds.com, “So the 2012 Hyundai Elantra is comfortable, well-built, fuel efficient, abundantly equipped, sharply styled and covered by Hyundai’s long warranty coverage. When it comes to the small sedan segment, we can finally endorse the Elantra as a top pick.”

Elantra is more mighty than small when it comes to the compact category. Any car dealer, Fort Myers or elsewhere couldn’t help but recommend the Elantra Limited.

Well, the Super Bowl will be here before we know it, and you can be sure that sponsors have already started thinking about what ads they’ll be running. Hyundai has been running commercials in the past 5 Super Bowls, but this will be the first year they actually tailor an ad to the Super Bowl. Hyundai will run two spots, both will be aired during NBC’s coming broadcast of Super Bowl XLVI, set to be telecast Feb. 5 from Indianapolis, as well as a 60-second commercial leading into the kickoff of the gridiron classic.

”We’re making Super Bowl spots,” said Steve Shannon, VP-marketing, Hyundai Motor America, in an interview with Advertising Age. “We need to get that headset on. The bar is high.”

In Super Bowls past, Hyundai ran spots based on what their most recently released model was, whether it was a Genesis or Sonata, and according to Advertising Age, “It made a big Super Bowl splash in 2009 under former marketing chief Joel Ewanick by guaranteeing buyers they could return a car, with no hit to their credit, if they lost their jobs. Its ads have also talked up the way its cars hold their value, their new design and improvements to fuel economy.

This year Hyundai is considering a more customer-brand relationship focus, being recently named the automotive maker with the most brand loyal customers based on return buyers, customer surveys, market share and sales. Hyundai beat out 2 long time incumbents for the spot.

Ft. Myers car dealers, like O’Brien Hyundai anticipate the new commercials every year, even if the Miami Dolpins aren’t playing in it, which they most likely will not be.

Hyundai has been climbing the charts on car sales for the past couple years, and now according to Experian Automotive’s second quarter 2011 market analysis report Hyundai is at the top of America’s most brand loyal vehicles.

“Hyundai’s corporate loyalty rate held steady at 49.6 percent, enough to oust [the reigning competition] from the top spots, which scored 48.1 percent and 47.6 percent, respectively,” Motor Trend reports.

This was the first time Hyundai has ever landed the top spot. The defending champions have long held this coveted title, but with consumer-friendly prices and high quality innovative vehicles, it was only a matter of time before Hyundai swooped in a stole the title.

It’s top-sellers like the Sonata, Hyundai Genesis, and Hyundai Elantra that keep people so loyal, and new hits, like the sporty Veloster that bring in new younger audiences to Hyundai dealerships.

“Hyundai has been making strides in customer loyalty for several years,” said Jeffrey Anderson, director of consulting and analytics for Experian automotive, Motor Trend reports. “The company’s innovation, 100,000-mile warranty program, and improvements in vehicle styling and quality among both brands have clearly helped them gain and maintain a strong and loyal customer base.”

Hyundai’s run to the top was the most drastic and aggressive leaps up the charts ever recorded by Experian Automotive’s study: “Experian reports that Hyundai saw the greatest year-to-date percentage increase of any brand, with the Korean automaker shooting from 7.9 percent in Q2 2010 to 9.2 percent in Q2 2011 for a gain of 1.3 percent.”

Hyundai has completely flipped the compact and sedan category upside down with their new “fluidic” design, tricked out amenities and top safety ratings. Drivers are finally having their cake and eating it too. Even Ft. Myers used car dealer, O’Brien Hyundai said he’s noticed a drastic pick-up in sales.

Yesterday, Hyundai donated a 2012 Genesis, 5.0-liter, V8 R-Spec Model to the SAE Foundation to be auctioned off via eBay Motors beginning Oct. 31. The proceeds will be used for the SAE Foundation, which helps to support SAE International’s math and science education programs, such as: A World In Motion, Collegiate Design Series and undergraduate engineering scholarships. The SAE and Hyundai are striving to increase and nurture student achievement in science, technology, engineering and math.

This particular Genesis features Hyundai’s most powerful engine ever with 429 horsepower. According to Hyundai, “The heart of the Genesis 5.0 R-Spec model is a new Tau V8 engine producing 429 horsepower at 6,400 rpm and 376 lb. ft. of torque at 5,000 rpm. This new Tau V8 represents the most powerful Hyundai engine ever, with a higher specific output (85.8 hp/liter) than its normally-aspirated premium luxury competitors. For 2011, the Tau V8 engine family has again been named to the prestigious Ward’s Ten Best Engines for the third consecutive time.”

The 2012 Genesis comes equipped with an unique R-Spec sport transmission, suspension and steering calibrations,19-inch alloy wheel design with premium machined finish, more aggressive grille and front fascia design, new headlight design with LED accents and daytime running lights, and a sportier rocker panel design.

“With power and technology features rivaling more expensive vehicles in the luxury segment, Genesis is a great option for car buyers seeking quality and reliability,” said Scott Margason, director Product Planning, Hyundai Motor America.

The 2012 Hyundai Genesis will be biddable starting October 31, 2011 through November 6th, 2011. The base price for the R-Spec hovers just around $46,500, so if the bidding exceeds that, SAE foundation will be getting a generous amount for their efforts in promoting achievement in science, math, technology and engineering.

If you don’t happen to submit the highest overall bid, it’s okay. 2012 Hyundai Genesis vehicles are available now at your local Hyundai dealer. If you’re near Fort Myers, Genesis buyers should stop by Fort Myers new car dealer, O’Brien Hyundai.

The wait is over! Finally the new Hyundai Velosters are arriving in your local Hyundai dealer showroom. The coupe-like, 3-door Veloster is the sixth of seven new Hyundai models to roll out over a 24month stretch. Prices range from $17,500-$23,000. And when it comes to fuel-efficiency, “40 is the new 30”. Veloster boasts EPA mileage estimates of 28 city/40 highway — with the manual transmission. Automatic buyers can expect 29 mpg’s city, 38 highway.

All reviews say the Veloster is sporty and fun to drive with an extra spurt of go when needed. Preloaded gears make upshifts satisfyingly swift, though downshifts take a little longer to transact. Power from the all aluminum, 1.6 liter four is generally fine for all around driving. Veloster is the first to carry the automakers dynamic new dual-clutch transmission. Ft. Myers car dealer, O’Brien Hyundai has been anxious to receive the car and start taking it for test drives.

According to timesuion.com, “Hyundai sees their new Veloster as a ‘reverse halo car’; a high profile gateway into the brand for new buyers. It’s a subject the company has some experience with. Hyundai sales are up 21 percent year over year and the company is now perched at about a 6 percent retail share. A surprisingly large number of those buyers — some 70 percent — are conquests from other brands. Fresh looking, fuel efficient and fun to drive, Veloster will undoubtedly boost those numbers.”

Techy young people will love the standard AM/FM/Satellite/CD/MP3 head unit, iPod and USB/auxiliary jacks, 196 watts of power and eight speakers with upgrade option packs of 450 watts through eight speakers, one being a subwoofer. Also, A touch screen navigation system is available, with integrated rear-view camera and backup warning sensors. Nav or no nav, all Velosters get the 7-inch touch screen display screen mounted in the center stack.

Ft. Myers new cars, like the Veloster, should make Hyundai have quite the fall quarter when it comes to sales.

Hyundai has completely revamped their line of vehicles in the last 2 years, and the sales are proof of it. Hyundai has pulled customers away from the competitors with vehicles like the Hyundai Sonata and Hyundai Elantra, both of which have received numerous awards and the highest safety ratings. The success of these cars has given Hyundai dealerships the courage to take a chance with the soon-to-be-released three-door Veloster and six-cylinder Azera.

John Krafcik, chief executive officer of the Seoul-based company’s U.S. unit said, “We have demand in excess of our ability to supply, for almost all of our models right now. With the Veloster and especially with the Azera, you’re really going to see this focus on design pay off.”

Unlike their competitors, Hyundai has consistently been gaining market share, jumping +.5 this year. Some of the breakaway success has been attributed to certain automakers not being able to fulfill production demand due to the tragic earthquakes this past spring.

Krafcik said he’s not concerned. “People will always say ‘you guys got lucky because competitors had to deal with this other thing,’” he said referring to the earthquake-related disruptions. “Even without those issues, we still think our share of demand would be higher than our actual ability to deliver the volume.”

The Sonata has been dubbed the best mid-sized family sedan, but Hyundai hopes to capitalize on a younger demographic with the Veloster. This coupe-like 3-door hatchback is aimed at 20-somethings, with great fuel-efficiency. The 2012 Azera is a large sedan with a six-cylinder engine, set to arrive late this year to appeal to drivers of full-size cars.

Hyundai is excited about the U.S.’s growing confidence in the Hyundai brand. Ft. Myers used car dealer, O’Brien Hyundai offers car buyers great used Sonatas and soon new Velosters.

Hyundai is leading the automotive industry in fuel economy with 4 standard vehicles that achieve over 40mpg on the highway. Hyundai’s “4 x 40” strategy includes the hot-selling Elantra, Sonata Hybrid and all-new 2012 Accent, released in June 2011. The fourth model, Hyundai’s hip and hot Veloster, will hit the roads this fall. The company shattered records, selling 100,000 vehicles achieving 40 miles per gallon highway fuel economy by Fourth of July weekend.

“Hyundai aims to be the fuel economy leader and our ‘4 x 40’ strategy is accelerating our overall fuel economy improvement, which now tops 35 mpg across the entire lineup,” said John Krafcik, president and CEO, Hyundai Motor America. “But we really see 40 mpg as a starting point. We committed to at least 50 mpg corporate average fuel economy by 2025 and remain the only automaker to set our sights so high. Using a mix of technologies to improve the efficiency of our standard, internal combustion engine vehicles, combined with the smart application of hybrid technology, we believe we are on the right path.”

Hyundai is driven to improve upon the current technology of the Gasoline Direct Injection engines and hybrid technology. They feel that driver experience and affordable pricing don’t have to be compromised to achieve greater fuel efficiency. Besides engine technology, Hyundai also looks for other innovative ways to improve fuel efficiency, like aerodynamics.

Hyundai enthusiast, Steve Kelleher commented, “All of our recent vehicle introductions display our striking visual style, which we call ‘Fluidic Sculpture.’ It was developed at our five global design studios, who all worked together so it would have universal appeal. The style creates the impres-sion of constant, graceful motion which, at the same time, helps cut through the air with ease. The Elantra, with an incredibly low drag coefficient and a fuel-economy rating of 4.9L/100km on the highway, is an excellent example of how big a contribution design makes to fuel efficiency.”

Ft. Myers car dealer, O’Brien Hyundai has a wide variety of these more green-friendly vehicles. Soon the Veloster will be one of Ft. Myers new cars.

As the official car for Hyundai’s major pediatric cancer program, Hope on Wheels, Hyundai FCEV Tucson will travel more than 4,500 miles coast to coast for kids with cancer. During the month of September, National Childhood Caner Awareness Month, the Hope on Wheels Program will award $7.1 million to children’s hospital’s nationwide. On its trek across the country, the Hyundai team will stop at various children’s hospitals to collect colorful handprints of cancer survivors from around the United States.

The journey kickoffs with a handprint ceremony at University of California San Francisco Benioff Children’s Hospital on September 1st, “the first of 71 hospitals to receive $100,000 Hope Grants – the Hyundai Tucson FCEV will travel over 4,500 miles through more than 15 states in under 30 days.”

“Hyundai is committed to bold and innovative change to make the world a better place,” said John Krafcik, president and CEO of Hyundai Motor America. “Through Hope on Wheels, we are making great strides in the treatment of childhood cancer and through our leadership in fuel cell technology, we are making bold strides for a cleaner planet.”

And don’t worry about Hyundai wasting gas. The FCEV Tucson is a Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle, with higher environmental performance and the same reliability of your standard Hyundai vehicle. Hyundai is committed to leading the industry, with more cars and trucks that achieve over 40 miles per gallon than any other automotive manufacturer. The Hyundai FCEV Tour will showcase the efficiency of next-generation fuel cell electric vehicle technology. FCEVs use Hyundai technology to utilize fuel cell power from compressed hydrogen, an energy source is renewable and far safer than gasoline. Any Fort Myers new car dealership will be excited to tell you about the new FCEV technology.

“Fuel cell technology is one of the lowest carbon footprint power solutions in the automotive industry and it has the potential to be a zero carbon solution,” said Michael O’Brien, vice president of product and corporate planning of Hyundai Motor America. “Several manufacturers are actively exploring fuel cell technology, but Hyundai is making it a reality with the ability to begin factory production of fuel cell cars and trucks in the next several years.”

O’Brien Hyundai Fort Myers car dealership is excited to be a part of the fuel-saving revolution. So while helping to save kids from cancer, Hyundai is also helping save our environment and precious natural resources with technology that is truly breakthrough.

This year back to school cool comes on 4 wheels. The 2012 Hyundai Accent was voted the number 1 back to school vehicle by car aficionado Kelly Blue Book.

“Like its bigger brothers the Sonata and Elantra, the 2012 Hyundai Accent appeals to a finely-tuned sense of value, putting a lot of equipment into a stylish, roomy package that competes more than favorably with competitors. While not pavement-ripping, the 138-horsepower engine will deliver 30 mpg in the city and 40 mpg on the open road. And at a price that’s a bargain, the 2012 Accent demands to be on your back-to-school shopping list.”

The top ten winners, none of which included a big yellow bus, were picked based on the following criteria in mind: safety, affordability, versatility, reliability, cost of ownership and fuel efficiency, and the “fun to drive” factor. And based on the “fun to drive” factor it’s easy to understand why your classic school bus didn’t make the cut. I mean have you ever seen a really excited bus driver, like one that just exudes joy? No, probably not.

However, the Accent ranks highly in all those categories, especially “fun to drive”. And students love the 30city/40hwy gas mileage. Because when your living off pizza and instant noodles, gas is the absolute last thing you want to spend those precious college dollars on. Plus, for students traveling to school, the compact 2012 Hyundai Accent is surprisingly spacious. You can pack as many bags full of clothes, bedding and shower caddies as your mother can put labels on,

“The 2012 Hyundai Accent is tapping into the consumer demand for high-content, fuel efficient cars,” said Brandon Ramirez, product planning manager, Hyundai Motor America. “Like the Elantra and Sonata Hybrid, Accent achieves 40 mpg highway without any additional cost for a high fuel economy package, making it a very attractive car to both students and their parents.”

Florida students should check out Fort Myers new car dealer, O’Brien Ft. Myers Hyundai to test drive the Accent. This Ft. Myers car dealer can tell you even more about the attractive warranty that makes any Hyundai vehicle look even more attractive.

Hyundai will continue to innovate their line up of vehicles to enter new product segments, while still keeping their current cars fresh and stylish. And the next car to debut this fall is the sporty coupe, Hyundai Veloster. New versions of the Elantra, Azera and Sante Fe will also be premiering throughout this year and the next.

According to Autoweek.com the Veloster should be an exciting addition, “Hyundai’s sporty coupe will arrive in showrooms in September. The Veloster features a hatchback roofline and third door on the passenger-side rear. Powering the Veloster at launch will be a 1.6-liter gasoline direct injection four-cylinder engine and Hyundai’s first dual clutch transmission. A turbocharged version will debut next June or July with a turbocharged version of the 1.6-liter engine producing around 200 hp.”

And one of the most exciting things on Hyundai’s glowing horizon is a new more luxurious SUV, dedicated plug-in hybrid sedan and a sport sedan to compete with the even the most high-end brands.

Hyundai has become the most versatile car brand in the U.S. While, many competitors have tried to release luxury models into their line up, most have failed. Hyundai has had huge success with the Genesis and more recently Hyundai Equus, which was first launched in South Korea.

Autoweek.com mentions the updates to Hyundai Equus, “Topping out at more than $65,000, the Equus sedan was Hyundai’s opening salvo into true luxury territory when it debuted in the fall 2010. For the 2012 model year Hyundai’s halo car gets the new 5.0-liter V8 engine used in the Genesis R-Spec.”

By refusing to settle for anything but the high quality affordability, Hyundai has stole a huge chunk of the U.S. market share from the competition. Critics have hailed Hyundai as a breakout brand, raising the standards and lowering the price for car buyers. I think everyone is anxiously awaiting to see what the 2012 Hyundai vehicles will look like out on the road.

Ft. Myers used car dealer, O’Brien Hyundai can tell you about the evolution of standout cars like the Sonata and Elantra.
