Hyundai vehicles just keep winning

Hyundai needs to clear more room off their award shelf because automotive research and consulting firm AutoPacific awarded the Hyundai Elantra and the Hyundai Azera 2011 Ideal Vehicle Award (IVA) winners in their categories. The Elantra breezed over tough competition in the compact category. The Azera won the large car segment. And Hyundai took home the 2nd place overall in Popular Brand Rankings.

This recogition shouldn’t surprise anyone after Hyundai’s endeavors to make better cars more affordable. They’ve redesigned the modern sedan, made luxury amenities standard, and offer more 40mpg vehicles standard than any other maker.

“It’s getting harder and harder to measure quality differences in today’s vehicles,” said George Peterson, president, AutoPacific.  “Consumers need better insights into which vehicles will meet their ideal for comfort, ride and handling, cargo space, and other attributes that are experienced on a daily basis.  IVA winners deliver the most of what consumers are really looking for in their vehicles.”

“Having our models recognized for AutoPacific’s 2011 Ideal Vehicle Awards is a testament to the hard work and dedication that goes into all the vehicles in the Hyundai lineup,” said Scott Margason, director Product Planning, Hyundai Motor America.  “At Hyundai, we strive to exceed customer expectations in safety, quality, value and performance, and look forward to continuing to develop more award winning vehicles as we bring the 2012 Accent and Veloster to market this year.”

Sounds like the Sonata might have some interfamily competition. Fort Myers new car dealership, O’Brien Hyundai is excited to start rolling out new 2012 Accents and Velosters. And even if you’re looking for used cars, Ft. Myers O’Brien Hyundai has what you need to get out on the open road!

Myers car dealer, O’Brien Hyundai. Hyundai cruised past their nearest competitor by .9%.  The top-selling Sonata midsized sedan accounted for a third of all sales. The compact Elantra was also hot seller. Higher end sedans like the Hyundai Equus and Hyundai Genesis also helped boost summer sales. … Continue Reading

This little car is putting up big numbers

The toughest car category to compete in is surprisingly small –the compact. Compact cars are the most widely purchased vehicle models in the world, making the competition fiercely strong because every automaker wants a slice of the pie. And Hyundai had showed up to play with the sporty Elantra. The 2011 Elantra makes its nearest rival compact pale in comparison. In fact, the comparison seems almost unfair making “the [previous] best-selling compact in the U.S. for years, look dowdy, dated, and dull.” … Continue Reading

Not to be vain, but the Elantra is a good lookin’ car

The Elantra is easily the best looking compact car on the market. And it’s one of those things that makes one say, “ All of this, for this!” when looking at the price tag of $20,350 or less with navigation system, rearview camera, upscale alloy wheels and 360-watt, and premium audio system. … Continue Reading

High rolling in Hyundai style

Those with a taste for the finer things in life are turning to South Korean carmaker, Hyundai to fill their luxury garages and heated driveways.  A recent study found that holders of the American Express Centurion Card, a near-unlimited credit card with a number of other added benefits, are more likely to drive high-end German-engineered vehicles or a Hyundai! This came as no surprise to Hyundai CEO John Krafcik, who announced the news along with the new specifications of the 2012 Hyundai Genesis, which now scores a 320kW 5.0-litre R-spec V8 engine linked to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The new Genesis is something even the hoity-toitiest couldn’t stick their noses up at. … Continue Reading
